The incident took Thursday, Jan. 24 during heavy rains after a sprinkler line broke, sending water gushing, causing the roof to collapse inside the former Kelley's Restuarant, according to News 12.
The owner told the news channel that construction was just about to get begin on the empty 2,500-square-foot space, but that he plans to continue his effort to open an Italian restaurant.
